Do you have an great startup idea you’re looking to develop, or just getting off the ground?

Newcastle-based digital startup accelerator Ignite100 is starting to build toward its 2013 launch, and it’s keen to talk to interesting people. While it’s not yet open for applications, it’s looking to talk to as many teams as possible in the next few weeks. If you’re up for it, fill in the form via this link.

Ignite100 is a 14-week programme in which inspired folk with ideas get beaten into shape by waves of seasoned mentors, from local experts to international household names. They get some cash at the start to get them going, and pitch to investors at the end for a bigger sum to really kick things off.

The programme will be entering its third year this year (after taking over the torch from The Difference Engine in 2011) and has already helped develop startups such as social donation platform Givey, art discovery guide Artspotter, conversation platform Blooie, project management experts Usable and social analytics firm Odimax. Its 2012 class included social marketing startup Socialrithmic, volume wizards Earsoft, second screen chat platform MatchChat and CAPTCHA-killers FutureAdLabs.

It’ll officially open for applications next month, at which point a new website will go live. For more on last year’s programme, read our previous report here.
